But knowing that Gallente Assaults are not that good and relly on good reps to stay alive, yeah. On my shield suits I run dampeners on lows.
PS: I'm rocking a Federation Spartan. Which comes with one Dampener.
On top of that, all my Gallente Assault suits have less than 500 armor so I am not really stacking up on armor but on reps.

inb4 use dampeners Why are you complaining asking for a further EWAR nerf?? We've had enough limitations, EWAR is messed up already, just use dampeners and quit spamming tears around, go for a walk in the park instead... *sigh* Story time.
Rattati nerfed the cloaks do to them being too rewarding and not enough risk. And by this time, people used similar responses to what you guys are saying now. I will quote them.
"Get gud" "Use your eyes" "Always look behind you" "Run scanners"
Tho, many Scouts said that the only worth while cloak to use was the proto cloak. And the STD was utter crap. Cloaks by then made a player invsible, while still maintaining their passive scans and the cloak offered a dampening bonus.
Almost all of this was nerfed because Rattti founded that Scouts running cloaks where far more on the rewarding side and too far away from the risk side. Even tho equipping a cloak benefitted one player.
Keep in mind that if a Scout wanted to run cloaks effectively they needed to have that Scout suit level 5 and proto cloaks to actually be of some use.
Now, with Gal Logis and active scanners it is all backwards. Tho, while the cloak only benefits one player, even back when Uprising 1.8 launched (when they where extremely OP only one player could benefit from the ude of a cloak). Active Scanners in the other hand, benefit the WHOLE team. Mix that with a Gal Logi and you have yourself scans that last a lot.
Now, the same but mirrored arguements are being brought up "Run damps" "Run a dampened scout" "Kill the scanner"
With the same arguements used by scouts back then but just replace "scouts" with Gallente Logistic and "cloak" with "active scanner" What do we get? "The only way for a Gallente Logi to be effective with scans if i for him to have Galente Logistics at Level 5 and use Proto Active scanners to be anywhere near effective" see? The Active scanner has a cool down time, yes. But this is negated by equipping all equipment slots with scanners, sit in one spot and just provide endless scans that the whole team can see for prolonged time.
Cloaks were nerfed do to them being too rewarding and less risky. Well Gallente Logistics with active scanners are the same. Espcially in Ambush. That game mode was bad, but thanks to this scans being thrown everywhere having enemies already storming my spawn area before my team even spawns there.
All I am asking is for when a scan is thrown, there should be a bright red dot where the scanner threw the scan. That way there will be at least some risk involved into this tactic.
